If I thought the first was insanely funny, and the second was funny but not as funny, would I like this?

Oh, and why do they have to have "widescreen" written on the side?

Because there is going to be a pan&scam version as well..

I personally LOVED Goldmember. I saw it twice in the theater, and wanted to go back a third time but didn't get a chance to. I pretty much like all three equally, though, so take that as you will..

I realize that, but why does it have to be on the side as well as the front. Lord of the Rings did that as well and I just don't think it's neccesary and really clutters the design... but that sounds really anal so forget it...

I don't like the cover art. I think International Man of Mystery has the best art.

yeah, with each Austin Powers movie they're getting more commercial and mainstream...kinda lame.

I don't know why, but the box art looks kinda cool.

I saw this in the theaters, and while it wasn't anywhere near as good as the first two, I'll still get it to complete the trilogy. Plus I'm a sucker for shiny Infinifilms.

I must be the only person here who thinks it was the best of the 3 movies. I thought the first 2 were kinda funny, but Goldmember was absolutely hilarious. A friend I was with had to actually turn his eyes from the screen and stop watching for a minute he was laughing so hard.

I already own AP1 & 2, but I still haven't seen Goldmember yet, so I'll be buying blind come December.

The case looks awesome. Is that a clear blue case?

I like the first one immensly because a lot of its humor was a spoof of the spy genre of the 60's. The second one seemed to me like it was trying too hard for laughs. I will definitely check this out though.

Wow, looks great. I unfortunately don't own any of the other AP movies for some reason, but I enjoyed this one most, so I am definately getting this one.

I saw austin powers 1 :IMOM on its last legs at my local gagaplex and was expecting the worst and i laughed so hard i nearly choked on my own spit ..(gross i know but i was getting over a cold at the time) definetly one of the funniest films ever..ap2:tswsm...was equaly good it had the spirit....But Goldmember was fair at best....it repeated the same jokes over and over again most of austins scenes were really blah ...but dr.evil almost stole the show..myers is a great comedian when it comes to ad libs a lot of the jokes dont fall flat ,they fall hard ...and Beyonce Knowles is really annoying you wish that pam grier would step out of the shadows and beat her ass for a really bad imitation.....i just want to see the hour's worth of deletes that this set is promising...in closing ......not great ..just so-so..only to complete a trilogy.

in my opinion dr.evil started stealing the movie since ap2. i dont think he had enough scenes in ap1 but the ones he was in were great.
but damn i cant wait for this. like u said they prolly have a lot of deleted scenes that will be great......but just imagine the outakes those must be great and i hope they are on the disc. would kinda piss me off though if they decide to make new specials for 1 and 2.
also im a little mad that the part 3 case isnt the same as 1 and 2 with teh cardboard. looks like a regular dvd case except blue

I know I'm going to get chastised for saying this, but this was one of the few instances where I hoped Goldmember would come in a snapper. The reason: to match the first two releases. Don't get me wrong, I like Infinifilm packaging, but this throws off my current DVD organization.

I think I read somewhere that the case is going to be gold. In that case it would make the case look even better.

It looks too much like it's trying to show off the Infinifilm line as much as the actual movie. The blue doesn't really match the tone of the film as much as it does the Infinifilm logo.
I'm sure the disc(s) will be great, but the art looks too generic.

I wouldnt buy this movie if you paid me, I thought it was absoloutely horrendous compared to the first two... Mike Meyers needs to go back to making good movies, like so I married an axe murderer and waynes world... Dont get me wrong, AP1 and 2 were both great, but this one was just a huge rehash for the most part

I'm kinda irked that this case won't match my other two Austin snappers...glad it's a keepcase, but still! (have the same problem w/ TMNT trilogy).

I'm hoping the deleted scenes are funnier than the movie itself (not too much of a stretch). I know the deleted scenes for Spy Who Shagged Me were just HILARIOUS and it's one of the few special features on a DVD that has tremendous replay value...)

Goldmember rocks! I thought it was the best of the three, although Austin himself was much funnier in the original, it kind of goes like this for me.

1st movie: Austin ruled
2nd movie: Dr. Evil ruled
3rd movie: Mini-me rules!

Will be buying this the second it is released

I'm not ever going to buy this but... blecchhh... that light blue/gold combo: jarring. Yuck. And it'll look even better with the eventual bilingual cover I bet.
