DVDs that really make the 5.1 system thump...
OK, call me late to the game, but I FINALLY made the jump from crummy TV stereo to a full blown 5.1 surround system (and I am a studio musician for God's sake!). Clearly I don't have to tell you that it adds a whole new level to the DVD experience. Suddenly I find myself pulling out DVDs JUST to hear the mix! My current "Check out my new system!" titles include Fight Club and Gladiator...
But what DVDs would you recommend that are worth it JUST for the 5.1 sound mix? The bigger, the gaudier, the better! THANX BBJ PS... doesn't that "THX Certified" screen with the killer audio ramp up just give you CHILLS?!?! |
