Spiderman: released early?

Someone on AVS Forum claims to have rented it the other day:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...hreadid=176028

This DOES seem a bit peculiar.... what do you think?

Peace.....

It does seem very early. I could see if it was the week before release, but its a little less than a month...

Some guy who sells video games and DVDS at my local indoor flea market had it new for 22 bucks two weeks ago. The only reason I didn't get it was because it was in Full Screen.

Interesting. I guess I might have to start checking some local places that put things out early just in case. I can't imagine any will be out until the week before its released, but its worth keeping an eye open for, I suppose.

Seems dubious to me...

A month early on a catalog title or a rerelease is one thing, but a high profile release like Spiderman? I think that guy is full a crap(imho)

Here is one of the *deleted link*
It's an all region disc with Asian subtitles. Single disc. Hmm.

[Edit: *deleted link* here's another all region out of Singapore, with the "real" cover art]

Oh, I knew what a fortnight was, I was just being a pain in the ass.. It's not a term used very often, at least not in my region of the States (SoCal). Actually, I doubt many of the people here know what it means..

I only learned what a fortnight was from reading Shakespeare and watching The Simpsons.

We know nobody means any harm by it, but we'd like to ask that you don't post links to ebay(especially for bootlegs). Feel free to talk about Spiderman being available at ebay, just don't provide the links.

Thanks

It seems some of those are real copies but every single one of the released early dvds is the full screen version. I would buy one if it wasn't fullscreen.

Most of the people selling Spiderman early have zero feedback. That sets off a bell right away. Look it up guys.
