Import DVD's - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I have thought about buying some Asian DVD's on Ebay since most are ALL Region. I noticed that MOnsters Inc. also has a DTS track, but few extras. But what is the quality like on these Asian DVD's? Is the picture as good or is it more like a VHS tape? And what is the sound like? Are they as good as the Region 1 releases, minus the special features? If anyone has any of these DVD's, any info would be helpful.

they're usually bootlegs....and of some lesser quality. I would only get one if it was something that was not out here.

Edit- Also, many of these Asian region 0 DVD's of American movies are bootlegs. Quality can range from poor to average. Either way, we don't condone piracy here at DVDfile, and end up closing most of the threads that deal with them.
