When will "Parker Lewis" come to DVD?
It's one of those short-lived shows that was on FOX (way long before "American Idol", "Firefly", and "That 70's Show") featuring Parker Lewis in a show called "Parker Lewis Can't Lose". THat, and "Married with Children" are some of the cult shows on FOX that needs a DVD release. Other than "The Simpsons", "The X-Files", and "Buffy", these shows are in need of a DVD release.

Agreed. It wasn't around long, but I loved the show. I'd be interested in it on DVD...for the right price of course.

There are a lot of smaller companies working at a grass-roots level to get out the smaller shows that the studios seem to be ignoring. A good thing to do is to go to TVShowsOnDVD.com and cast a vote for the shows you would like to see on DVD. It gets the notice of those grass roots companies, like the guys who are putting out My So-Called Life.
Signing up is free, and there's no spam (just updates on the shows you vote for, if you request them). There's other stuff at the site as well. The studios actually seem to be paying attention to this now; witness Universal's sudden announcement of 10 series releasing to DVD in the next year!! ![]() |

I think the first season of parker lewis would make a great box dvd set. That 1st season was amazing. I think the show went down hill after that. They just seemed to run out of gags, but they really threw everything and the kitchen sink at you in that first year. Anybody remember another fox show by the same creators "great scott" it ran 4 episodes and starred a unknown actor named tobey maguire. I wonder whatever happened to that guy?

I loved that show. Lasted 3 seasons, but was great.
The first two seasons were great. very funny stuff. The show went down when the third season began and it changed format. The name of the show was cahnged to just "Parker Lewis" and they changed style. They even redesigned the character of Parker Lewis and changed his friends, which was part of the great chemistry which made the first two seasons great. |

It was on Columbia's first TV on DVD poll, however not on subsequent ones
I pray we will one day be able to synchronize swatches on DVD, if only it was coming from Anchor Bay or someone like that we'd have a chance at Swatch-ish colllector's box ![]() |
