Best Place to Order Chinese DVD's...
Basically I am looking for a good, easy, reliable place to pick up DVD's like The Eye....and possibly some Japanese DVD's like Ringu.
I have seen the stuff on Ebay and not sure I want to use that method. Has anyone found another way that worked well? Basically interested in a shop that has a good selection of Region 0 DVD's at good prices and good service??? idears? thanks. |

I've ordered from dddhouse.com. From the look of the page, it's kind of a fly-by-night operation, but if we define "good service" as getting your order and not being overcharged for it, the service was good.
Not a glowing recommendation, I realize, but I've only ordered a few times. It was adequate. |

I actually buy all mine off eBay.
 I've looked at www.hkflix.com a few times though and it looks like a good site. But can't give a recommendation since I've never actually ordered from them. |

dddhouse is good. I've ordered a few times and never had a problem.
HKFlix is great, very nice, super people to deal with. They carry just about anything you could want, and I love their honest reviews. They do charge a bit more on some titles, but since they are in the US you don't have to worry about importing and that sort of thing.

Add www.HiViZone.com to the list of 'ordered a few times, won't rip you off, but kind of low-rent web page' sites. I'd say hivizone is pretty much on par with dddhouse, and they sometimes come in cheaper if you order 3 or 4 discs.

www.pokerindustries.com They have Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, India, and all those neat French movies you keep hearing about but can't ever find. They have "The Eye" for $18, and their shipping is quite reasonable; $4 flat below $50, above $50 it's absolutely free.

Gotta give props to dddhouse.com (MY FAV!!!!) Have done about 20+ orders from them and have never had a problem, they are my first choice, ALWAYS.
dvdasian.com has a freakin HUGE selection of asian films. Based in California, awesome site. Got my order QUICK! hkflix.com - never ordered from them but all the forums I ahve been too, they are the most recognized and apparently most used site for asian films, so I doubt any problems will come from them. other sites to check out: www.yesasia.com - heard great things about them. www.sensasian.com - big selection and great prices. I will be ordering from them soon, since they have hard to find VCDs. |
