Transformers Season 2

So this website said today that the second season of Transforms set that comes out next month will have all the episodes on 4 dvds. Didn't we discuss that they couldn't do the whole season on such a small set? I thought it was something like 30 episodes. And I thought digitalbits.com said it would only be half of the second season. Anyone know for sure?

I bet they put all of the episodes for season two in one box set, because if not why wouldn't DVDfile say that it is part two of a set? The episodes might not be the best quality but I would rather have them all in one big set than in two 60 dollar sets.

I'm actually hoping that Best Buy will do what they've been doing for boxsets like the Simpsons, and have a deal where if you buy seasons 1 and 2 you get it cheaper. That'd convince me.

Season 2, Part 2 will release next year. Probably February or March.

I would rather have a quality transfer of the episodes in two sets than a crappy transfer jammed into one set. Why would you want crappy transfers, that makes no sense?

Why would I want all the episodes crammed into one box.

Because I don't want to spend 120 dollars on a single season that's why. They could just put them on 6 or 7 disk and charge 89.99 and I would be fine with that.

As for the "Because they made a human mistake" remark, I was just saying that they just posted the news about it being season 2, you would think that they would know if it was part 1 of season 2. No need to try and act like a smartass. It was just a simple remark.

I picked up this box set today. It is just the first half of the season. Anyone know when the next half is coming out?

Whoa! I really hope they don't take that long to release the second part of Season 2.

Well that would be about the same ammount of time between the current set and the last set. Four months isn't to bad.

Yeah but when you consider they are releasing the second part to season two--not a new season altogether--the wait seems even worst. Now if it was a four month wait for season 3 then it wouldn't be bad at all.

Yeah, considering that was the dreaded season which was post-The Movie. Blech. I'll buy it, but that's completionism for you. It had some okay moments, including "Starscream's Ghost", but definately lost something in the changeover.

At least there's no wait for "Season 4". We already have it!

Why were there only 3 episodes for season 4? Was it cancelled, or was that planned?

Season 4...

Was, indeed, cancelled. And then they started rerunning the show constantly. And then they started running "Beast Wars", which has great animation (for Saturday morning), but such a crappy idea...who wants to play with a robot who turns into a monkey?

Since "Heroes" is all of season 3, what are the episodes on "Villains?"

Also, even though the show was cancelled after 3 shows into season 4, did the show continue to run in Japan? Past this season?
