I might get Spidey today

Mexico already has it, and its r4/r1 and has same features & separate widescreen & fullscreen.
The only thing i have to do is go to Ciudad Juarez & get it, fourtanely is less than a half KM away from here.
And also Ice Age is already out there too.

Geez, do studios think that Mexicans are MORE idiotic than americans?
Before going, i asked the stores selling it & they answered me "No, its R4 & Fullscreen only" i asked them "Why do you carry fullscreen only?" they answered "The studios dont send us Widescreen anymore, though many people ask for the widescreen version, and barely anyone complaints about the black bars"

(sigh)
Oh well, i already have a fullscreen DVD (Monsters Inc. R4/R1), maybe i could bite the bullet and get this one too (after all Spidey is Open-Matte)

Oh and here´s the irony: The banner of the mexican Blockbuster has Widescreen & Fullscreen versions on it. Sheesh

Oscar, after all your "joe sixpack" rants and pan&scan hatred threads, I'm surprised you'd even consider Spider-Man in pan&scan. Why not just wait a week for the WS U.S. release?

Yeah, Oscar was asking me if he should get the fullscreen in AIM and I verbally assaulted him. I almost felt bad but it was for the greater good.

Just wait the week, widescreen is worth it, screw the "open-matte" theory.

And also Satoshi, im not really worried after all.
The A/V is getting more good reviews than bad reviews, as for the features well they seem appropiate for a film like Spider-Man so it dosent matter.
Im not worried at all.
