E.T. Gift Set and K-Mart
So has anyone who got in on the $24.99 gift set deal at K-Mart gotten a "Shipped" notification (or the actual set) yet? My order is still showing as "Processing" on the K-Mart site--the same status it was just after I placed the order....

I'm not saying I approve of them doing it this way, it's just the way they work. |

I was near a K-Mart yesterday so I popped in. I talked to the Electronics Dept manager.
They will only carry the fullscreen of E.T. in the 2 disk set and will not carry the gift pack according to what she said. I asked her if she liked fullscreen, and she said, "No way, that sucks, widescreen is the way to go." K-Mart seemed to have the best price (14.96) so I a price match for that price when I did find it in widescreen. -Flash

Yes! I received the set this past Saturday--much quicker than I expected, as I selected the "Media Mail" shipping option. ...not really impressed with the way it was packaged, but no major damage done...and for $25, who am I to complain??!!!

I am soooo green with envy having seen the post about KMart's error in pricing just a short while after they caught their mistake.
