Review it beeotch!

So, is it worth buying the other two diminishing-in-quality discs of the series in order to get disc five?

And, is there a limited time offer on the 5th disc?

I hate to say it, but if you havent ordered it already, you probably won't get it. They said, "While supplies last" and the offer ends Sept 1, I think.

I shall review it shortly.

D'oh!

Oh well, The Rock hasn't even bought the Alien Box set because he wasn't sure he wanted any of the movies but one and two.

So, if the fifth disc wouldn't be available to The Rock, then he'll just go ahead and get Alien and Aliens someday.

Thanks Rick...looking foward to your review.

I have had this set for 2 months and I haven't sent the card it. I would hope that since there is still a month left on it they would still have some if I send it today. Oh well, I will see.

Actually www.dvdnightmare.com had a report of a text scroll glitch on the Panasonic a310.

`Snagged mine in the mail 3-4 days last week after Peter announced that Fox were finally shipping them out (I believe they come from Ill.) [`originally sent mine in 06/03/1999]. the DVD is definitely worth a look, and it's all on the first Alien movie. Lots of current interesting H.R. Giger interviews.

I just saw this: http://www.hrgiger.com/

Being the enormous idiot I am, I forgot all about that damn mail-in. After seeing yesterday's postings, I rushed around and found everything, put it together, and promptly mailed it.

Then I found the check still sitting on my desk. I couldn't get the envelope back with my receipt, is there anybody out there who either a: has a number or email address where I can contact customer suppert for fox.

or b: have that P.O. box we mailed the coupons to. I could always send my check with a note and a copy of my reciept. (thank you amazon for keeping those on file)

Please help ME!

I received mine on Saturday and man was it a pain in the ass to get out of that cardboard sleeve. I thought I was going to rip open the sleeve pulling the DVD out.

Frig! I can't believe y'all taking it for granted. Down here in Australia, I couldn't even get someone to ship it to me, even after buying the box set, so I had to resort to buying the VHS box set too! Who's stupid idea was it to include it on tape, but to make loyal DVD buyers send away for it?

And on a side note, why the frig do all the four discs have that crummy little teaser for Alien 3, but the VHS has the awsome international trailer with the non-Alien 3 music? (And I don't mean it's got Aliens music, it's some sort of pumped up classical piece with a choir and all - kind of like the X-Files trailer)

I also had a hard time getting the sucker out of it's sleeve. And how come they didn't make any room for it in the box set? You can barely squeeze it in, then you got this bloated looking thing on your shelf. I wouldn't have minded another Amaray keep case. Oh well, at least I got it.

micahp,

You might want to try this number: 1-888-223-2369

This was the number Fox gave out for people who needed to get a copy of the 5th disk fufilment form.

Not sure if they can help, but it's a starting point.

I created a keepcase cover for the Alien mail-away DVD. It uses all the images and text from the cardboard sleeve. I have it available in jpg and pdf format. Just print it out, trim it up, and slide it into a keepcase. Please see my signature for the URL.

Here's a peek:
