Star wars ep01 and amazon.ca - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Hi,
I checked the amazon.ca site for ordering star wars ep01+02 and i did not find any listing of ep 01 with wide screen a few entries were listed and none of them showed widescreen for ep 01
but ep 02 showed widescreen and P&S (sucks)

can anybody explain this is the candada release a seperate one
or a the same as the US release for ep 01 and 02.

I was able to find the widescreen entry for Ep01 on amazon.ca. Just do a search for Star Wars on DVD and there are 10 entries, and it's #10 (October 16, 2001 - DVD for the release date is the giveaway).

I believe they're rereleasing Ep01 in fullscreen to coincide with Ep02's release so that could be why it's slightly harder to find!

This is the same release as the US to my knowledge.
