Taking into consideration movie quality, A/V quality, and extras, I'd say:

Toy Story & Toy Story 2: The Ultimate Toy Box
Monsters, Inc.: Collector's Edition
Ghostbusters: Collector's Series
A Bug's Life: Collector's Edition
and hmm...I suppose Jurassic Park: Collector's Edition

When I do the big census again in January, those will be the three criteria to use, and I guess those would be the first half of my list right now. I have to think some more, though.

Mine would probably have to be....

1.The Godfather DVD Collection (not a great transfer, but I love these films and the x-tras are great)
2.Fight Club
3.Se7en
4.Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition (i'm not a huge fan of this movie, but you can't argue with the audio/video quality and the supplements)
5.Cast Away (the supplements are a bit overrated, but the audio/video is superlative)

This is how I am rating my top 5 favorite dvds. How much I like the movie and how good the dvd is. if i hate the movie but love the extras and sound/video. it ain't on here. I have to love the movie.

1. Ghost World (needs a better edition, but at least we have it!!!)
2. Spider-Man Gift Set (sweet!!!)
3. Queer As Folk Season 1 (what more can I say, amazing set!)
4. Friends Season 1 (another great show on tv! awesome set!)
5. Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone (great audio/video! awesome movie!)


i'm pretty sure #2 will be Back To The Future Trilogy soon.

Nine Inch Nails: And All That Could Have Been- my favorite concert disk
In the Mood for Love: CC- one of my favorite foreign films (with wonderful supplements and A/V quality to boot)
Moulin Rouge!- one of my most rewatched disks
Taxi Driver- another favorite
Branded to Kill: CC- possibly the strangest movie in my collection (but one of the most entertaining)

Of course this list could change tomorrow, but i'm sure that is true of nearly everyone's.
