Traci owns the U.S. rights to Traci I Love You (so no U.S. release ever ) but it was released this summer on DVD in Canada. :p

It's listed under Canadian DVD Exclusives HERE

EDIT: Could a mod fix the title of this post please. It should read - Traci Lords' not Traci Lord's. It annoys me.

Her pre Traci I Love You probably do go for big bucks (but under the table since they are illegal). I saw most of them when I was in my mid 20's & they were legal (before she got busted). Discussion on this forum of anything but Traci I Love You will probably be frowned upon by the mods though, since it is now considered kiddie porn.

I have no interest in acquiring the now illegal titles. Any conversations held on internet sites are traceble to my house via my ISP #.

I do wonder about this video. Is there anything that is not on the earlier videos? Was it made after her bust?

Also, is the value of her earlier work only driven by the "cache factor" of owning something illegal?

edit: through a little scouring i found out she started making 'adult films' at 15 and made 80+ by the time she was 18. only one of those (assuming it's this one) was made when she was 18.

What's really fucked up is that the issue of Penthouse where she was a centerfold, and in which she was "discovered" by the porn industry (in her centerfold interview she stated she wanted to do porn) is ALSO considered kiddie porn, of course.

It's also an issue that featured either Madonna or Vanessa Williams (the defrocked Miss America)...I forget which. But the issue is seriously a collector's item now, because it can't be sold legit since she was 14 or 15 when Lords was centerfold!

I used to have that issue, too!

God, it would be worth some serious bucks today if I had kept it, and it hadn't fallen apart. Geez!

I remember seeing a bio of her on -E-. Maybe it was that True Hollywood Story they do. Apparently, she was cranking out these movies under some porn studio banner while she was underage, and became a huge star in the porn industry. Then, when she turned 18, she did that Traci I Love You movie under her own production banner. Shortly thereafter, the story of her being underage broke, and all her films were recalled except the only one made while she was an adult and which she owned the rights to. Apparently she cleaned up on the movie as all her fans were clamoring to get their hands on the only XXX title starring their dream girl. Her colleagues in the porn industry felt "used" by her (imagine working in the porn industry and feeling used-what're the chances?), but she made enough money from it that she did not need to do porn again, and planed to do "legit" movies. The only legit movie I can remember seeing her in is Blade (as the sexy redhead at the beginning who lures the guy to the vampire party).

I believe the issue of PH in question had Vanessa Williams on the cover. She also did an "uncredited" shoot in another issue.

I used to have them both. Of course I am younger than she is (by a few years) so I never really considered her age an issue when I owned them. Mine, on the other hand....

She's actually been in a ton of low budget movies.

But her first non-porn movie was the Not of this Earth remake. The film is a lot of fun, with TONS of in-jokes. She does an ok job, and really doesn't keep her clothes on much --so it's worth checking out. The DVD came out just a few months ago.
