No South Park commentary set voucher in DVD set.

I thought there was supposed to be a voucher to send away for the 5-disc commentary CD set but nope. I just bought mine today and there was no insert whatsoever. I can't complain though. I bought it for $10.

I was under the impression that you only got the CDs if you bought it thru Comedy Central's online store.

I just got the dvd set from comedy central and there was no cd in the package. Also the invoice doesnt say anything about the cd or another shipment but at the website the whole order is still pending and sayes it shipps in 3 to 4 weeks so im assuming the cds were made late and arent avaiable yet and will hopfully ship in a few weeks. I had a feeling there wasent goin to be a sheet on ordering the cd seperatly and i dont see anyplace to buy just the cd either....maybe you can just try calling comedy central cause they dont come attached or anything. If anyone did get the cd for some reason though id like to know cause then i gotta call and find out where it is.

ummm did you really think Warner would have included a coupon or voucher for commentaries? No way. This makes them look bad . Im just wondering how this will affect the other seasons and their commentaries.

My SouthPark arrived today (9.99 from MediaPlay.com - woohoo!)

Anyway, I ordered one for a friend as well, so now have a problem:

In sending away for the commentary CDs, they want ORIGINAL reciepts, and only ONE request per envelope.
Of course, I have 2 purchases on one original receipt, so this has become impossible.

Does anyone have any experience (that maybe already sent away and received their CDs) with how slack their requirements may be ... I was thinking I'd just print off a couple of my web-based order confirmations and hope they assume that was the only receipt I've got.

Any other ideas?

That's a bit of a tight situation that you're in Martycoster. All that I can think of to do is just deal with getting one commentary set and burn a copy for your friend.

You could try sending the requests with the internet receipt things but then you'd be risking their denying your request and not getting the commentaries at all.

I don't understand why receipts are important for things like this anyhow. You'd think that the proof of purchase might be enough to prove that you purchased the item.

Yeah, I just opened it to find that this has one of those 4 cardboard proofs deal, labelled A-D. Normally, these kinds of offers specify that you have to send in a particular letter, but this one doesn't, so I suppose that if they accepted them without original receipts, you could get 4 commentary sets per DVD...

Should have done it to begin with, but I just called the number on the commentary request form (a customer service number -- answered on the second ring -- by a real person -- amazing!).

The nice lady had to ask other people for me, but she said that yes, they are accepting copies of receipts. I have to send my two requests separately and one of the requests has to have the original receipt included.
I wrote a short letter for the request with the copy, just to smooth the road. Fingers crossed!!!
