Dvd Resource is reporting that Private Ryan will be released much sooner than thought. Or so the rumor goes.

The DVD Re-what? Hmmm, never heard of this site. Is the webmaster reputable?

Anyway, whatever the case, let's hope SPR comes out sooner rather than later.

but also not very good.

Ah, the SPR saga! I don't know, I just go by what I'm told.

I talked directly with the head of Production at DreamWorks, and there is nothing coming. Of course, perhaps it is a ruse, who knows, but it seems odd to me that you could produce enough copies o this one in time for 11/2 without the head of production even knowing about it!

However, SPR will debut in Region 4 this fall! So, perhaps they realize there will be a great deal of exportation if it doesn't come out in Region 1...

Wouldn't the region 4 release be Paramount's bailiwick, not Dreamworks? Wonder how much that has to do with it....
