Nothing, which is good because I still need everything from last week!

EDIT: I missed Halloween: Resurrection, I might get that if it's cheap...

Mostly rentals for me next week:

K-19: The Widowmaker
Stuart Little 2
Invisible Circus

Supposedly, a music video compilation DVD called Best of the Corrs is supposed to be coming out next week, but it might be a Region 2 release only. If it's Region 1, I'm getting it.

Might get Human Nature.... sooner or later... no rush, unless I'm feeling impulsive...
Gotta love that Charlie Kaufman though.

The end of 2002 is looking pretty dry for me in terms of new releases... it'll give me some time to catch up on what I haven't watched, haven't yet bought,.. and spend Christmas gift certificates on older wishlist titles. Word.

I'll be getting Human Nature for sure and probably Cherish--I didn't warm up to the film quite like my girlfriend (though I enjoyed Liz Phair's small role). I think Hairspray is on my Christmas wish list...(I hope!)

Nothing from this lot.

I will get the Disney Treasures (only Mickey in B&W and Goofy), and maybe a Criterion if I feel rich :p

No buys this week, though I might rent "Human Nature."
That's a good thing, though, because I need to recover from last week (and still pick up "The Producers").

I'm definitely getting Contempt. I haven't decided on Die Nibelungen. I'll wait until I read a review or two. I may also order the D.W. Griffith set. I've been meaning to pick up a couple of the titles individually for some time. New editions in a nice box can be quite an incentive!

I'll add a recommendation for the little-seen Cherish... for once, a San Francisco movie actually filmed in San Francisco (check out the big chase scene, which includes a stretch near the apartment of an ex-girlfriend of mine).

I had the chance to talk with the director, Finn Taylor, at a screening earlier this year. I liked his film, but he wasn't very happy with my commenting that his use of '80s music associated with a villain paralleled that of American Psycho.
