I have a copy of the rarest of the rare: SALO Criterion Collection (check out the prices on Ebay for proof of rarity).

Also: I have a WS copy of GIANT (R1) that was available for a very short time (by mistake) in Canada, and it has never been released in the USA.

I also have all of the other rare OOP Criterion titles: THE 400 BLOWS and THE KILLER.

I have a ton of rare DVDs, including most of the Criterion OOP ones.

I do have Pusher, although i have yet to watch it.

I would have The Kindom, but it sold out AFTER I placed an order for it. Grrrr.

Hmm... maybe the most obscure thing I own is Begotten, E. Elias Merhige first film. But most people would say most of my collection is pretty obscure, I'm sure I have a lot of DVDs that no one else here owns.

Hmmm. I think "Left Behind: The Movie" maybe? I got it as a gift. This is pretty bad and I'm not sure if they sell it in stores. Maybe they do, I haven't been that interested in checking.

I have all the Bottom DVD's!

My collection includes several Europeon imports, which NOBODY here has (well, not likely):

Gerry Anderson's Terrahawks series
Ralph Bakshi's Fire & Ice (Australian import)
Threads (awesome nuclear holocaust docu-drama)
The Plague Dogs
Mike Leigh's Career Girls
many BBC/ITV cartoon shows I grew up with as a kid (Willo the Wisp, Danger Mouse, Jamie & The Magic Torch, etc)
Ultravox, Dire Straits, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and a few more video compilation DVD's

US releases:
The mail-away Alien DVD
BMW films "The Hire" with The Follow (which I didn't realize was that rare)
Animal Farm (the original 50's cartoon feature)
Happy Tree Friends (do yourself a favour and buy this - actually, at least 1 other person on DVDfile has this)

David Hasselhoff in BAIL OUT (don't ask, it was a joke gift)

probably a few more, but if anyone else has these, own up (except the last one - if you own that, i weep for you)

RESPECT! Now, where's our Bottom Series on DVD??

I used to have The Terrorist, but sold it while I didn't find it that good. Interesting movie though.

Seanmonkey, I am interested in what you think of Pusher. I was surprised to find it in R2 while it is kind of a raw movie, but have some scenes in it that I find classic (like "Franke, Why are you doing this to me?")....anyway let me know when you have seen it...

Is that the same as the PC 'game' Star Warp'd? From the makers of Pyst and Microshaft Winblows 98?

...

I'm not sure how many other people have these discs:

For the record, those're the Bellydance Fitness for Beginners DVDs. Both Basic Moves and Fat Burning and Arms Abs Hips Buns and Thighs. They have DD 5.1 and commentaries too.

Snap!

Where is Mike Leigh's Naked?

along with the complete Bagpuss and The Clangers - all I need now is Ivor The Engine and I'll be happy...

I thought I'd never see the day when Danger Mouse would get a mention on the File

Personally, I don't have too much in the way of unique discs although I do have a lot of R2 (ex-pat) as it is primarily R1 round these parts - a couple of concerts from guys like Steve Lukather and Toto (don't ask it's a drummer thing) that I had to get in from the Netherlands. A ton of R2 UK TV seeing as BBC America are showing nothing but Ground Force and Changing Rooms these days. I do have the original I'm Alan Partridge that was pulled after a day or so because Joni Mitchell got a beef about the music licensing

My two most obscure dvd's would be...

Nadja- An artsy b&w vampire flick that has a cameo by David Lynch. I believe it is OOP.

The Brothers Quay Collection-Freaky animated shorts that inspired the Tool videos.

I have, and love, George Washington!

I've got:
Air Bud - came free inside a box of cereal, in a slip cover. No menus or anything. just plays the worst quality transfer I've ever seen. It looks like it from 1922, been colourized, well at least after watching it for 2 minutes, and then hidding it from the rest of my collection forever....

Also have:
Ball Above All - probably a somewhat popular collection of playground basketball antics

Dark Days - probably a few have it, but it's such a fantastic documentary about the people who live underground along the subway tracks in NYC, with a beautiful score by my always-favorite DJ Shadow

Little Rascals - Volume 3&4 - considered getting the whole box set, but instead just got a little taste of the best gang out there

....

I see the original poster is Danish, and as such naturally lists a lot of Danish movies... I don't own a single one, but I've seen most of them.

Being Norwegian I guess I could list all my Norwegian releases and have a pretty good shot at finding something. Actually I haven't listed a few yet, because I can't find the required cover scans...

My best shot would be Soul Deep, a Norwegian snow board doc.

How about the old Superman Cartoons from the 40's (maybe 50's).

Awesome artwork, ~~and~~ they are in 5.1 surround!!

The 5.1 mix is a bit screwy though, it's stronger on the left side that the right.

I just bought the Brothers Quay disk this weekend. I'd been putting it off for quite a while.

As far as disks that no one else has, I have two Bollywood song collections. One is "modern" stuff (Mission:Bollywood) and the other is from the 60s and 70s (Down Memory Lane). Does anyone else have any Fantoma disks? All of the one that I have so far are quite nice. How about Pantera: 3 Vulgar Videos From Hell? It's 4 hours long and hillarious.

The Caine Mutiny-Court Martial - Robert Altman's 1988 TV movie. The DVD from Lion's Gate is a Canadian import - not a great transfer but a very good courtroom drama.

"The Day After" which was only released in Brazil. This is the one that scared the crap out of everybody when it first came out back in the '80s..Nuclear War and what happens afterwards. I wish I could find "Threads", I have seen it on Ebay but it is only Region 2 PAL.
