Not me.

But, if it were a bunch of hot guys as the stars instead of girls, I'd buy it (so I'm just as guilty)

I am strong like bull. I have no shame in my game. Yep... I will be buying it. Every movie doesn't have to be a 5 star flick to be enjoyed. Hell, I still get a kick out of watching Jason X and know I really shouldn't.

Not me, that movie looks lame and if I'm watching something just for the girls I'll pick up a playboy video.

No shame in my game either.

"Blue Crush" could very well be the next "Bring It On".

I love looking at that DVD in my collection... Mulholland Dr, Magnolia, Requiem for a Dream, Taxi Driver, Citizen Kane, Kubrick Collection....etc.... and thrown in for good meassure Bring It On and soon Blue Crush!

Great stuff. very rewatchable.... I pressume
I hate most action movies, a rarely enjoy a sci-fi flick, but for some reason I'll really dig this movie I'm sure. Could be the best blind uy since Bring It On.

A terrible movie that for some reason was deemed acceptable?

I bought Bring it On and had the opposite reaction... "I'll never buy blind based on hot chicks again"... so no.

Didn't see it at the theaters, so I'm not sure if it's worth buying. Very likely will be a rental for me.

But it just makes you so darn happy! At least that's how it worked on me. It made me happy. Same thing as "crazy/ beautiful" actually. Why, I don't know - probably because 90% of my collection is "overwrought dramas" .

Oh, and back on topic, if it really does compare to Bring It On, then yes, I'll be buying it.

And since I want to prove once and for all Michelle Rodriguez has only one facial expression (R.E., Girlfight, F&TF) I'll probably pick this up.

I think the real reason is because they both have Kirsten Dunst.

I can see watching it once, but your time on this Earth is limited and wasting it on repeated viewings of Bring It On is a crime against humanity.

The certainly doesn't hurt! Too bad she didn't sign up for Blue Crush...

I must have a thing for cheerleaders (Bring It On), bratty rich girls rebelling against society in a tight white t-shirt (crazy/ beautiful) and surfer girls (Blue Crush)...

BLUE CRUSH actually got a lot of great reviews. Of all the summer films, it was one of the better ones.

Plus, the surfing scenes were amazing. They will stand up to repeated DVD viewing.

Very true -- it WAS one of the better popcorn flicks of the summer. It's also amusing that suddenly "Blue Crush," of all things, has to rate as a "guity pleasure" or "Admit it, who's gonna buy this?" on a board not always known for its lofty tastes. Isn't this the same board that often extolls the virtues of "Spidey," "Star Wars," "Equilibrium," and "X-Men"? It's not like the regulars here get in frequent debates about "Remains of the Day" vs. "Howard's End." Why is "Blue Crush" -- or "Bring it On" for that matter -- suddenly beneath everyone's delicate sensibilities? Because it has hot chicks in it instead of wire-fu?

This anti-"Blue Crush" prejudice reeks of fourth grade -- "Girls yucky! Comic books cool!"

girls yucky?........no.
in fact they are all quite hot. but hot girls dont make a bad movie good. i really almost fell asleep in the theatre. about mid-way through i was getting antsy and just couldnt wait for it to end so that i can leave. i just thought the story was really bad. the only thing i liked about blue crush (besides hotties in bathing suits) was the fat black guy from The Replacements who coincidentally again played a football player. he was hilarious in Blue Crush.

Well, it is below my sensibilities, and so are most of the other movies you meantioned. I don't need Spiderman, Blue Crush, MIIB, or any of that crap.
