Boomtown?? Any chance?
Any chance of this show being released? I'd love to gather this season up in a box set. This is one of the best shows on television, period! I am hooked on it. I love the widescreen presentation. The episodes are all so captivating and well shot. Am I alone on this or do others feel the same?

Right now? No way. Why would they release a network show on DVD (or at least have plans to) when it's not even through it's first season?

24 is different in that it's hard to run it in syndication because it is so necessary to see every episode in order. Plus, they probably stated making plans to put it on DVD when it wasn't sure whether it wouldbe back and as a way to generate hype for season 2.
But, hionestly, it's an exception.

I'm watching it and enjoying it. One of the few new shows I've started watching regularly.

I would watch an episode or two as it sounds interesting, but am boycotting NBC on principle at the moment since they've booted "Providence." Until they officially decide to bring Providence back for a sixth season, the only thing I'll watch on NBC is the last two Providences. Other than that, they get no viewership from me. Which lands me in an awkward position, as my other favorite show was recently cancelled, too. So until the My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Spider-Man TV shows start up I've got nothing to watch.
I thought about getting involved in 24 Season 2 but missed the first few episodes and now I can't jump in because it's supposedly essential to view them in order. Hopefully season two will come out on DVD as soon as possible so I can watch 1 and 2 on DVD and start watching it on TV with season 3.
