M*A*S*H Season 3 date

I saw on deepdiscountdvd.com that MASH season 3 will be out on 2-18. I thought it wasn't going to be out until April, so this is good news.

How many people have the first two?

That makes me very happy.

I bought the first 2 seasons as they came out, hoping they would stand up to the test of time.

According to my parents, I watched them as a kid a lot and cried at the season finale. But I hadn't seen them as an adult at all.

I reeeeeaaaaaalllllly like the no-laugh track option, and the picture is superb for the age that they are.

I will definately be getting Season 3 the day it comes out.

Actually, I like the episodes WITH the laughtracks.
Somehow, the comedy shines more? Odd.

Maybe, thats just because I grew up with MASH, and seeing the episodes with the laughs.

I think you're taking his post the wrong way. He pointed out that it was his 100th post. No big deal. He then expressed his opinion that he's happy about the M*A*S*H news.

I'm happy to hear about future seasons of M*A*S*H as well. I've got the first two seasons, but haven't gotten around to watching them yet other than a few episodes. I love the show so I'll continue to purchase the seasons as they come out.

No, Mur...we do not care how many posts you (or anyone else) have. Any sort of "post celebration" is severely frowned upon. End of story.

Plus, if you look at his last 5-10 posts, you can see the obvious padding, which is not only frowned on, it's against the rules.

Quote:
7. No bombing or padding. (Posting lots of threads/posts with the exact same content, or meaningless content.) Padding is adding "me too" threads (or something equally as meaningless) to just about every thread on the forum. We don't care about your post count, neither should you.
Contrary to popular belief, we didn't come up with these rules just because we like the way we write.

OK. Fine by me. I'm not trying to step on anybody's toes or anything. I was just pointing out what I thought was the case. I did notice that he was indeed padding his posts in other threads. I guess I was wrong.

To get things back on topic: I very much agree with Fox's decision to make the laugh track optional. Watching without the track may seem different from how you remember the series on TV, but with writing as good as M*A*S*H had, I don't need to be reminded of when to laugh.

Sorry I didn't know post celebration and post padding were against the rules.I should have read the rules more carefully. You were right moderators I was trying to get 100 posts so I could get a avatar. I have learned my lesson and have been punished (having my post count reset).Next time I'll be more careful. No hard feelings. -Droogie #11

I'm hoping the rest of the seasons will come shortly after.I hate waiting large periods of time between the releases of the seasons of some my favorite T.V. shows on DVD.
