Both yesterday and today I received 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure in the mail. I now realize I bought it twice!

First time I've ever done that.

Just Bourne Identity today. Right now it's staring at me, telling me it's a good movie, even though I haven't watched it before.

BAR, I must seriously warn you about Night of the Living Dead: 30th Anniversary. It's not the prized version of the DVD that you may think it is. It contains a butchered version of the film on it with "15 minutes of new scenes" that completely ruin the nature of this classic.

Now, I don't know if you weren't already aware of that, but I thought the least I could do was inform you of that. If the case is that you already own the Elite version(s) and just have the hankering to see how badly the team that produced the Anchor Bay version screwed up, then I guess that's not so bad.

Right now I think I'm going to save up for the cool February releases.

The "lastest" DVD purchase for me was Undercover Brother. I take "lastest" be to be a cross between "latest" and "last."

Picked up The Royal Tenenbaums and Showtime last night from BB.

I haden't seen Tenebaums before, but I figure at $6 for it (A Criterion set no less), it wouldn't hurt. Now I'm glad I did. Excellent film!

My most recent purchase was R2-D2 Beneath the Dome. I had to ask where it was, and then looked at their selection of Star Wars Toys that were on sale, at that point my phone rang with the Star Wars Opening title song, ya I felt like a doofus but oh well.

2 Days In The Valley - $5.00.

It's been a crappy month so far for new releases, IMO, but that will definitely change come February.

I picked up :

Tombstone: The Director's Cut Vista Series and
Ghostbusters: Collector's Ediiton

I'd been putting off getting both of those for too long. Got both of them for about $25 total. Now if I could just find The Frighteners with the original cover art before that Photoshop nightmare hits the shelves, I'd be a happy man.
