Just got the original King Kong on DVD as a blind buy this week. Saw it, love it. I don't really know why I love it, since it's got really cheesy effects (for 2005) on top of average screenwriting and unspectacular acting without any character devolopment...but in spite of all of that that I can rattle off about how badly it holds up, it holds up well enough to amaze me anyway. Lots of heart in there and I am quite proud to own it.

Almost a completely blind buy for me. I hope I like the movies... I've only seen Psycho and The Birds.

I've finally reached the milestone of owning over 200 titles - 211 to be exact.

Damn, that's a hell of a lot of movies.
