If it matters to you, looks like the French R2 disc is anamorphic while the Australian R4 disc is not...

I've never seen the movie, but I love the play. Does the film do it justice? Been wanting to check it out for a while now.

HA! i just love this film and i had forgotten all about it! its been years since ive seen it. btw, whats up with that whacked discovery of physics sub-plot? thought it was hilarious and confusing.

It certainly does. I was a huge fan of the play before I saw the film, and while the film does make some changes, it's a really faithful adaptation. And you simply cannot beat Tim Roth and Gary Oldman in these roles.

I'd buy this one in a second!

Tom Stoppard wrote the play, and he also directed the movie, so darn tootin' it does it justice

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like tears... in rain. Time to die.
