...this movie is available on R4 (Australia, PAL) DVD... as well as on R2 (France, PAL) DVD...

If it matters to you, looks like the French R2 disc is anamorphic while the Australian R4 disc is not...

I've never seen the movie, but I love the play. Does the film do it justice? Been wanting to check it out for a while now.

HA! i just love this film and i had forgotten all about it! its been years since ive seen it. btw, whats up with that whacked discovery of physics sub-plot? thought it was hilarious and confusing.

It certainly does. I was a huge fan of the play before I saw the film, and while the film does make some changes, it's a really faithful adaptation. And you simply cannot beat Tim Roth and Gary Oldman in these roles.

I'd buy this one in a second!

Tom Stoppard wrote the play, and he also directed the movie, so darn tootin' it does it justice
