101 Dalmations II - Did Anybody Else Notice This?

I saw the commercial for 101 Dalmations II tonight and noticed the animation style is VERY much like Don Bluth's animation style. Is Disney trying to bring his style back to sorta get the feel of their older titles? I know he didn't work on the original 101 Dalmations and he's not involved in this project, I just find it odd that they would go back to that style of animation.

They are just trying to match the style of the original to make it seamless.

They didn't do it right though, it looks too much like TV animation.

I was impressed with the backgrounds - they got that block-color style right on.

But the animation was too "clean" - not enough pencil lines.

They should have watched the John Henry short to see how to do modern pencil line animation.
