Shakespear In Love: Special Edition thoughts

I have absolutely no intentions on buying this disc, but thats beside the point.

Is it absolutely for sure going to be anamorphic?

I'd bet green money that the sucker isn't. Its Disney's way to kinda stick it to you. They got everybody thinking that their changing. Yeah right

I think this is a Miramax film so there's a better chance that we'll get it in anamorphic.

Of course, after how they handled the Alliance versions of Chasing Amy and From Dusk til Dawn, I guess all bets are off!

Since the version of Shakespeare that is out now is anamorphic, I can't imagine that the SE will be otherwise. Disney are too damn cheap to make a new transfer anyway.

It's supposed to be the same transfer used for the original version.

But I know where you're coming from. I wouldn't put it past Di$ney to stick it to us any way they could.

I already have the original, so I'm not buying the SE. I gladly would have given them an extra $10 for an SE the first time around, but I'm not buying it twice. Some movies I'll buy twice. That's not one of them. IMO, Di$ney screwed the pooch with Shakespeare in Love.
