How is it compared the the 'regular' cut?

I couldn't imagine the movie being any more graphic in any aspect. It was already hard enough to watch. (It was a great movie though.)

Does it come with a booklet? Are the menus nice? I know those are trivial questions, but I'm interested in knowing what to expect from this new series of DVDs. Thanks.

If you like raw and realistic films, then I say go for it. Its a very good film and Billy Bob and Halle are really great in it.

I agree that Halle was really good in the movie and her award was well-deserved, I personally thought the movie was stupid and a complete bore.
But again, she was very good in it.

So what are the differences between cut and uncut. I remember reading sometime ago (right here I think) that the only difference was you saw more of Billy bob. If that's the only difference I'll keep the copy I have now.

I don't know what the differences are between the original and the censored cuts, but I saw the uncensored version in the theatre (as it was released nationally in Canada) and have held off buying the original DVD release. Thanks to Lion's Gate (coincidentally a Canadian company) for releasing the uncensored version--now I can pick up a copy of this excellent film.

So, no one knows the difference between the two cuts, if its just more sex, then I will likely just keep the current edition.

The sex scene is about a minute longer. For example,
Spoiler (Highlight or Triple Click to Read):
We see Billy Bob's balls so maybe thats why they called it "monsters ball"
Most of the individual shots are longer instead of the fast cutting like in the R rated version. (saw on Cinemax)

I have the original DVD cut of this movie so I will not be picking up this version. I wish I would have waited for it, but oh well I got the other one new for like $12.99. I've not yet watched the DVD, I don't know why I've not gotten to it. So I've not seen the movie.

Question:Is the new "O" unrated also?

I too found this early at a local store! Actually, all 4 Signatiure Series DVDs were out, so I also got Amores Perros!!!

I won't be able to watch them for a while, but I will let you know that there are NO BOOKLETS inside them.
I figured as much, since the chapter titles are listed on the back cover...
No gripe here - the DVDs look great, with very nice cover art and overall presentation (not bilingual here in Canada, phew).
I hardly ever find stuff early, so these 2 were a real treat (they also had Eve's Bayou and O - potential buys some other time).
They're all pretty cheap too! Got them for $17.99 Canadian, (about $11.00 U.S.)
