I'll have to say Friday the 13th since it was the first horror movie I saw.

the "...Dead" series is my favorite, but out of those, the Evil Dead series is the best.

Out of all the choices, Evil Dead had the best movies. But i'm dedicated to ol' Michael Meyers.

Evil Dead because it is the most fun.

Hellraiser is the coolest looking. Since it's not part of the poll, I vote Evil Dead.

I love the Dead movies. The Evil Dead was good, but parts 2 and 3 went the way of comedy. Even the Nightmare stuff went a little comedy towards the end of the series. I like my horror scary, and creepy. Comedy takes all of the horror out.

I voted for the Evil Dead trilogy too. Bruce Campbell is the man, plain and simple.

Also, where is the option to vote for the Phantasm franchise?

I voted for Hellraiser because I think Pinhead's damn sexy. My actual favorite is Children of the Corn, though. I love evil children!

I'm an enormous fan of Romero's "Dead" films, or any well-crafted zombie movie for that matter. I'm one of those rare individuals who actually enjoys both the original Night of the Living Dead of 1968 and its 1990 remake. I grew up on those movies. Here are the scores I'd give to each of George A. Romero's "Dead" films:
  • Night of the Living Dead (1968) -
Dawn of the Dead (1979) -
Day of the Dead (1985) -
Night of the Living Dead (1990) -
