This is a great show. I'll get it. I don't know why they only do commentary for selected episodes on some of these sets though. You figure if they do one, they should just do them all.

But who really cares?

I hope the commentary is with Mike Judge --- that would be cool to hear.

This set looks terrific! I can't believe how many deleted scenes it has. It's probably normal for an animated show to have so many alterations and stuff, but this seems to be the first time they've managed to include it all. Great show, promising features, and priced to own. This one is mine!

This show and Futurama made great companion pieces to the Fox Sunday Night line-up, "I tell ya what.."

I absolutely love this show. It's so different, I never thought it would catch on the way it did. I'm damn glad it did though. Mike Judge is a genius!

Im not sure I like it enough to buy it, but probably will. First season was all right, but just like Simpsons had to gain some steam. This year's season is kind of weak though.

It took me a while to get used to King of the Hill but after the first few seasons it became one of my favorite shows. I'll be sure to pick this up sometime.

Deleted/Extended scenes on TV Shows

Am I right in thinking all these deleted scenes are a rarity among TV Show DVDs?

As far as I'm aware, only Friends (with extended scenes) and Doctor Who (extended and deleted scenes) DVDs give us these VERY important extras.

I don't buy many DVDs, though, so maybe this is the norm? Anyone out there have any other TV Show DVDs with extras like this?

I remember when the finale of Seinfeld aired it was mentioned that the show routinely ran 10 minutes long before the final edit.

I would hope these scenes have all been preserved for the most amazing DVD release EVER!
