May 13th with the usual TONS of extras...and DVDEmpire's had that cover up for a week or two. Smaller, but red-text-free!
 DVD Empire also has a cover up for Dark Angel Season 1, if anyone's interested (May 20th, and also with nice extras). |

Do you know if season 8 of the files will be also released this year, or are the just going to release 7. Can't seem to find any info. Linval

It's my speculation, with the 2nd X-Files movie being scripted/finalized as we speak, that they will plan on the following release schedule:
May 2003: Season 7 DVD November 2003: Season 8 DVD May 2004: Season 9 DVD Later summer/fall 2004: X-Files 2 Theatrical Feature This is all purely speculation on my part (except the release of Season 7). Of course, if there are delays on the script of shooting or something of the 2nd movie, I'm sure that will affect it, but if everything is finalized by this summer, most non-star-wars films are able to be shot and released within a 1 year time frame. And, seeing as how I haven't watched television in over 5 years or so, I'd really like to be able to have watched the entire series prior to seeing the 2nd movie.

I assume that the season will be released as per normal, I guess I was more making speculation on the new film more than anything.
