XMEN 1.5 Deleted Scenes

Is there a way to watch the deleted scenes on Disc 1 without having to use the Branching Feature? I can't seem to figure that out...

Isn't there a branching feature on the original "X-Men" DVD? I think it's dumb that you have to watch it in a branching version. I don't understand why they do that.

Well on the old disc you could access the deleted scenes separately and not just through the branching option.

Really? I didn't know you could get them that way (on the first disc). I've not watched it in a while so when I get home I'll have to check it out and see.

If you want, I can find all the times for when the deleted scenes pop up. Just forward to these parts.

"Storm's Lesson (Expanded)" (00:27:16)

"Logan Spies/After Class" (00:29:51)

"Love Triangle (Expanded)" (00:36:33)

"The Walk Home/Cerebro" (00:38:22)

"Xavier & Jean" (00:49:47)

"Orders" (01:09:05)

I think they are the same, but I'm not a 100% on that becuase I only have the original "X-Men" DVD and not "X-Men 1.5"

I think the list from Shifty are the same scenes from the first disc. I can't check right now though, as I'm snowed in a my g/f's in Philly and my apartment is about 100 miles away...

off the subject, but Frulad, ever been to Morimoto's in Philly? great place! I just checked and the deleted scenes are the same on both versions. Hey, does anyone think they ever will release a "director's cut"?

I really doubt that they will.

The 2 planned scenes that were being done during X-Men 2's filming to be put back in X-Men (1) were going to be the unfilmed Cyclops & Storm prologues, but they didn't do them.

Personally, I would love for them to put the additional Iceman/Rogue scenes back in. I may be getting soft in my old age, but I thought they had a good tenderness to them. I liked seeing that Bobby was willing to keep making the effort without seeming like he was just trying to get into her pants.

But, I don't think they'll ever put any of that in the film proper.

just went through them all and the are exactly the same deleted scenes from the fisrt release, which really ticks me off because Singer said that there was alot of scenes cut and for the first release he just picked a few to put on the disc, and on the special edition there would be alot more.
i wouldnt mind it so much except in a couple of the scenes they allude to other deleted scenes. for example when Xavier and Jean are in the Cerebro room he says that she 'lost control' at the senate hearing. i really want to see what she did. she probably just picked up a glass of water and telekinetically threw it at Sennator Kelly, but i'd still like to see it and the other stuff.

I was kinda upset that they talk about the "animated mutant" film used for the senate hearing was completed, but they didn't seem to want to include it on the disc.

Also, has anybody confirmed if the Spider-Man Easter Egg or the Beast/Blob Sketches are hidden on the new disc?

I still have the old one, but am curious.
