8 Mile Question

I have a question concerning 8 Mile. Today I went to Wal-Mart to pick up the Uncensored version of it. I found two versions, full screen and widescreen, but couldn't tell a difference between the censored and uncensored versions. How do you tell which one you have, and what is the difference between the two. I fear I've chosen the Censored one, and my brother has already opened it and watched it. What can I do? Thanks.

There should have been a sticker saying "Uncensored Bonus Material" on the cover.
Watch the MUSIC video for "Superman." If you hear swearing, it is the uncensored version.

If you don't....take it back to Wal-Mart and say it is skipping, and you want to get another one. They should do it...
or say something like...."This one said uncensored....but it isn't. I want the right one. It's the same movie, but the sticker was on this, and it isn't the uncensored version."

Wal-Mart never sells an uncensored or unrated version of a film if their is a censored or rated version available.

Yep your probably out of luck..I work for the local Wal-mart here in the electronics department and all we are carrying is the censored version (actually surprised we are even carrying that one). Once it's open not alot your gonna be able to do with it, unless you can talk to a manager and let them know you wanted the unrated version. The most they will probably do for you is give you store credit though. That's what I hate about Wal-mart. I don't buy music or movies that I know will be censored there.

I also made a stupid mistake and bought the Wal-Mart censored version and opened it. :rar: I'm still kicking myself in the ass as we speak.
So today i'm selling my copy on Ebay. If i'm lucky i may get some of my money back.
