From the director of "In the Line of Fire", "Das Boot" and "Air Force One", Wolgang Pettersen, this gem of a science fiction movie starring Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. was released pretty much unnoticed in the eighties. However, when I was a kid, I used to see it all the time, and I loved it. Has any one else seen it and does any one have a clue on whether it will ever be released to DVD?

Apparently, it seems the title is owned by Fox. Maybe we'll get a two-disc special edition box set NON-ANAMORPHIC?

I wish we'd get this one. Enemy Mine is definately underappriciated. How about another stunning Wolfgang Peterson commentary w/Dennis Quaid and Lou Gosset? Of course anamorphic

Color me ignorant--I had no idea Wolfgang Petersen was in any way associated with this underappreciated classic. I LOVE ENEMY MINE! C'mon, Fox, whaddya say? Wanna play nice and give us an anamorphic special edition? I'll let you be my best friend...
