Best software decoder for DVD-ROM drive?

Hi all,

I just purchased a Pioneer DVD-114 drive and I'm happily watching DVDs with the WinDVD player/software decoder. Win 98, DirectX 7.0, all latest drivers, etc., TNT2 Ultra video card, Pentium III 450 @ 567mhz, 128MB memory. I'd like to know which DVD software decoder offers the best overall image quality? WinDVD is good but I'd like to know if there's anythinG I'm missing.

Thanks

As far as video quality, I would have to recommend the ATI DVD program. But, if you have a 4 speaker setup for your pc, or a soundcard that does, I would recommend PowerDVD. It has video quality right in between ATI DVD and WinDVD, but it will actually decode surround to your 4 speakers (and sub & center channel if you have them). Those are my two picks, and both are definitely a step up in both sound and video quality from WinDVD.
