Have this one myself:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...v=glance&s=dvd For the kind of low-budget film it is, it's a great transfer (open matte full-screen, so blow it up to fill a 16x9 screen for a theatrical effect). Audio is fine, mono, but good fidelity. Extras: 15 minute or so Roger Corman interview with Leonard Maltin (does Disney know he moonlights on these kind of titles?), the original theatrical trailer, and previews for a few other Corman Classics (no director commentary as Paul Bartel is dead). Watched this the other night - great nutty flick!

I love this movie! I've been meaning to replace my old vhs of this.
Has anyone ever seen the sorta-sequel Deathsport? Is it any good?

True:
It's rumored that Tom Cruise was in talks to update the movie for a big SFX remake, DeathRace 3000. Hope that's still in the works somewhere! Haven't seen DeathSport, but looked like a DeathRace type of film from the cover.
