We won't know until late summer is my guess. I don't think we will see anything F13TH related until next year. As for the others Martin knows we want Student Bodies so I wouldn't be suprised if we see that. Other then I don't know. I would also say Let's Scare Jessica to Death is a possibility this year.

Yup, last year Paramount asked what DVDs people wanted and only a few people said "Student Bodies" but when it was over and Paramount annunced their fall "horror" slate people got upset and were like "What about Student Bodies." Martin did comment on it saying something "Well why didn't you say anythin," so he knows it's in demand and I honestly hope we see it this year!

When Full Moon first started they had a contract with Paramount for them to distribute their movies. A couple years ago Full Moon released the Puppet Master box set however due to their contract with Paramount they had to pull it after a few months. Their contract with Paramount finished late last year. This year they will be releasing most of their catalog including the Subspecies series and possibly re-issue the Puppet Master box set.

I'd like to see them release

The Sender
Looking For Mr. Goodbar......not really a horror movie, but that ending!!!

If they do release Student Bodies, I know we can pretty much rule out any extras (being Paramount) but I also wonder how bad they'll bastardize the original poster/vhs artwork? (It was pretty cool)

Yes, Hellraiser III is a Paramount title. I highly doubt we will see it anytime soon. They also own Children of the Corn II, I would put these in the same place as they're both something I doubt we will see anytime soon from Paramount.

DAMMIT. I really wish they'd release this on DVD before the shitty remake comes out, that way people could tell theatres to "fuck off" on opening day by renting the original instead -- or at least that's what I'd do

Also, I agree with ebuzz79, I REALLY hope they keep the VHS/poster cover art for "Student Bodies".

Arigato,
Brook

Does anyone know exaclly why Paramount started changing cover art? My Friday the 13th series looks like shit, the first 4 got oringinal cover art and trailers, 5&6 have alternated cover art and trailers, but 7&8 have alternated artwork and NO trailers..

but im not only pissed about my F13 covers also about these:

Silver Bullet
April Fools Day
My Bloody Valentine

They will have one more chance to ride the popularity with 2 more sequels coming out in the next 1-2 years, and the new action figure line.

But something tells me that they won't do it.

There's a pretty-easy-to-get Canadian DVD by Lion's Gate that you can usually get for under $10.

I broke down and got it and a local store. It's fullscreen and the picture's not the best. I've heard mixed info on whether it's P&S or unmatted though.

But, on the other hand, it's never been available letterboxed, and even with the less-than-stellar picture, it's still better than the Laserdisc and video looked.

So, it's an option until Paramount gets up off their butts and put out a nice new anamorphic transfer of this not-very-good sequel...

It would be great if they released Nobody's Fool (1994) with Paul Newman - a terrific little movie w/great performances from Newman, Bruce Willis. Melanie Griffith, and Jessica Tandy in one of her final performances.

Yeah I know what happend........Paramount.

It seems as though as they started releasing the series fans got upset (cut versions, no extras etc.) So they decided as they released the sequels to just make the discs crappier and crappier

Just be gald you don't have the bilingual covers for the later ones like we do here in Canada

Velvet G: Do you mean Private School as in the one with Pheobe Cates? If so I'm with you on that one! But I thought it was from Universal???

That's the one.

I thought that was one of the funniest movies I ever saw and I was in LOVE with Jordan for years. I wore that video tape out.

I don't know who put it out, but it needs to come out soon!
