Son Of A Beach On Dvd!!!!!!???

wow i am totally shocked that this somehow slipped by unnoticed by me!!!! i just went to ign.com and they had a review on the set that has season 1-2. and i am totally psyched for this now. ive only seen about 2-3 episodes but it was hilarious. for those of u who dont know, this is kind of a baywatch spoof that is produced from the self proclaimed "King of all Media" Howard Stern. it is a 3-disc set. to check out the review here is the link:

Son of a Beach IGN.com Review

btw does anyone know the release date on this sucker?

Beat me to it!

Cover art and details have been posted there for months, StinkPalm. If there's anything else you're dying to get TV-wise, you should sign up for the e-mail service they provide to send news and release info. No spam from signing up for it; just the news.

Sorry if this sounds like advertising on behalf of the site; just that it's a good solution so I wanted to point it out. If my post constitutes "spam" then a mod can go ahead and delete it. Amazon offers a similar service, but only on specific titles they list (movie or TV). This does all TV shows, and you can request any that are missing be added to the list.

I'm no mod, Unicorn, but I think they're usually more concerned with people who just registered to hawk their wares and then leave. THAT'S pretty much what constitutes spam. If every third post became a link to another site, that might raise suspicions, but we all post links to sites we find cool or important or funny, just like you've done. Don't sweat it.

By the way, contact your local cable or satellite provider to subscribe to Showtime...No Limits.

Just wondering if anybody has heard any news on when Fox might be releasing the rest of the series.

Fox hasn't said a word about Season 2 yet...I've been keeping eyes peeled for that one. Funny show.

My friend picked this up and I watched a few episodes with him. It is not a bad series, but I wouldn't spend money to own it. I don't think it has much replay value.

You got that right. That's why I'm not getting subsequent seasons on DVD.

I would only watch this show for Jaime Bergman. Damn, she's fine!

Seems like a funny show though...

Well, if they can release season sets of Saved by The Bell on DVD, I guess Son of the Beach isn't too unreasonable. Still saving my rainy day stash for deluxe season sets of Mama's Family and My Mother-in-Law the Car.
