Bob Roberts: good movie?

Has anyone seen Bob Roberts, starring Tim Robbins? My brother sent it to me as a b-day gift and I've never heard of it. He thinks I will love it.

Is it a good movie? I haven't had time to watch it yet.

Peace...

It's a great political satire. I like it a lot.
Whether you're a left winger or not, you should be able to find it really funny.

And keep your eye out for an appearance by a young(er) Jack Black.

You know, it's considered a satire by everyone else, but I was living in Pennsylvania when it came out...

In any case, it is a fantastic film - and I really ought to investigate the DVD. In addition to the debut of Jack Black, once-famous author Gore Vidal has a starring (and startling) performance. I'd forgotten how much I like that movie...

Aidaa.

YES. Extremely good film and schatheing satire. Wag The Dog reminded me of it in terms of the jabs it took and the material it covered. Of course Bob Roberts preceded Wag The Dog by like 10 years.
