road to perdition missing HBO special

i just finished watching road to perdition. When i was going through the special features section i noticed that there was no hbo first look listed. To make sure it was on the disc i want to the dvd menu and went through all the titles but It was no where to be found. has anyone here come across a problem like this? Is the documentary any good? btw i own the dolby digital version.

I have heard its a pretty crappy extra but find it wierd not to be on your Dolby Digital Disc. I know DTS version didn't get it cause of Space issues for sound.

Maybe try exchanging it if you want the extra i guess.

I have the non-DTS widescreen version with the special, and its nice and all, but not that exciting. The whole idea of having 3 versions of 1 movie is irritating because where I oftentimes buy them (blockbuster) only so many can be carried. Then, I need to have prior knowledge of a DVD just to know which to buy so that I don't miss the DTS track version.

This is probably a stupid question, but are you sure you don't have the DTS version? I ask because the DTS version also has Dolby Digital 5.1.

Its my understanding that there are pan+scan and widescreen versions of the Dolby Digital release with the HBO special. Then there is the widescreen-only DTS non-HBO special version.

I don't think the DTS version would have the DD too...

Alexandr, the DTS version definitely has DD as well. The only thing that is missing is the HBO promo. I haven't seen it, but from what I understand, it's little more than the typical EPK...
