While looking at hmv.com, i came across two versions of The Crow: Collector's Edition. One was the US version, the other persumably the Canadian verion. Anyone know what the difference between the two is?

well there are 2 versions in the sense that the first incarnation of dvd just included the movie and maybe trailers or something on 1 disc and they called it a collector's edition.

There is a newer special/collector's edition that is 2 discs with commentaries, deleted scenes and much more ....

Not sure if this is what you mean, but you want the 2 disc version. There is only 1 cut available on dvd of the movie itself. The deleted scenes are separate.

I believe both the single disc and the newer double disc appear on shelves still.

I have the Canadian 2 disc set, and it is identical to the American 2 disc set (apart from having a French and English description on the back).

the only reason they list it, is because the Alliance release only came out recently (this year). no difference.
