Ok, this is me showing my nerdy side, but I was wondering something about how The Tick will be released on DVD.

When the show aired on Fox, the episodes were shown wildly out of their production order. A look at epguides.com shows that episode 100 was shown first, then 106, then 105. then 103, and so on. Now, the episodes aren't so linear that they HAVE to be watched in order, but I think they would make more sense if you view them that way. Interestingly, episode 101, the second show produced, was never shown by Fox. This episode was to revolve around Arthur and the Tick looking back on their first week together (a bit like the "flashback" episode of the Clerks animated series which was also shown out of order by ABC). When the producers realized this episode wasn't going to be shown second, apparently they added framing sequences to the episode to make it about Arthur and the Tick celebrating the one year anniversary of their first battle instead. But on DVD, the episodes can be shown in their correct order, so which episode will be included: the episode as they originally intended, or this second version?

Also, epguides.com says that episode 102, the third episode produced, which dealt with Arthur being committed to an insane asylum after he tells his mother and sister that he is a superhero, had to be re-filmed at Fox's request, due to the studio expressing disapproval with much of the humor involving the asylum inmates. This episode ended up being the last episode of the show that Fox ever aired. I wonder if any of the original footage filmed for this episode exists anywhere.

How they handle this will set a good precedent for when (or if) "Undeclared" and "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" come out on DVD too. Those shows were similarly mistreated and aired out of order by Fox.

I'm stoked about this as well, but Unicorn's right, it's been discussed.

Closing.
