Cool character names

What are some bad-ass character names you've heard? For me, it's from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - Napolean Solo.

I think that the Coen Brothers create quite a few memorable character names. I'm fond of Knox Herrington (the video artist), Pappy O'Daniel, Homer Stokes etc. Most of the names seem to really fit the characters.
PT Anderson also has some great ones. I've always felt that Frank T.J. Mackey was a perfect name for Cruise's character in Magnolia. How can you not enjoy names like Chest Rockwell and Brock Landers?
There are a lot of great names in screwball comedies and Hitchcock films too.

I've always thought that the coolest Tarantino character name was Drexl Spivey - Garey Oldman's character in True Romance.

Well maybe it's not completely... baddass cool. But it's certainly unique.

Sly's: Marion Cobretti/Deke DaSilva (Cobra/Nighthawks)
Freddy Riedenschneider
Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr

Alright, I guess I'll play the part of Captain Obvious again. The Matrix has some of the coolest names around.

How about Ash from the Evil Dead trilogy? "Hail to the King, baby!"

I think you're forgetting the single greatest Coen character name: Adolphi Zipkoff from their first feature, Blood Simple. Unfortunately it was cut. (I finally listened to the Blood Simple commentary and it's the best one yet produced)

My favourites:

Bottle Rocket: Mr. Henry, Apple Jack, Kumar, Rowboat, Bob Mapplethorpe, Dignan, and Future Man. Priceless.
Chinatown: Jake Gittes
Mr. Show: The dreaded Professor Peens, Ronwell Q. Dobbs, Info Jimmy, Bob Lamonta, etc etc etc.

Really, every name from every Coen Brothers movie. Especially main characters.

H.I. McDunnough
Ulysses Everett McGill
Pappy O'Daniel
Wearing Hudsucker
Sidney J. Mussburger
The Dude
many many more

"We were gonna name him Ed."
"But I thought you said it was a boy?"
"Ed as in Edward.. err... We just like that name!!"
