Black Hawk Down and SB D availability.

Hello all!

As some of you know there will be a SE (3-disc) version of BHD coming on June 3rd. I'm just wondering if CHTV won't pull another fast one and release a "SB D" (Superbit Deluxe) version soon after. I'd much rather wait for the SB D and get BHD with a DTS track and higher bitrate video.

Any one heard any news regarding this?

Thanks!

Actually, I'm betting on it (I might be tempted to buy both). Just be careful. I've heard talks of ten new Superbits by the end of the year (that haven't already been announced yet) and BHD may be one of them, so be careful.

I bet we see a "Superbit" release in the next year, but i really doubt it will be a "Superbit Deluxe".

It's kinda nice and relaxing for me, not having to worry about Superbit re-re-releases. Life is good.

Well, I figure that since I'll be picking up the SE, there's pretty much a 100% chance of a Superbit Deluxe edition being released.

Cap,

I wouldn't be that surprised. I was just hoping for some confirmation. On the one hand I'm tempted not to wait for the SB D version. On the other, I've waited this long for BHD, whats another few months? Heh...

If any of you hear/read something more definite please post!

Later all

I'll be picking up the 3 disc version. I've been very underwhelmed with the Superbit line. I don't them improving much if it's released as a Superbit....

Well, assuming that there will be a SB ver of BHD the improvements should include a DTS track as well as higher bitrate video. I think those are 2 very worth reasons already. That and the point I'm making is...if you don't already own BHD you might as well buy the SB D ver...

I think you're just promoting their double/triple dipping. The Superbit line is less that great......Don't buy and they won't take advantage

Whats the deal with superbits anyway, no special features? Its not like it would be hard to throw in a trailer or featurette
