The new Superbits have arrived with more to come!

I just upgraded 4 of my discs to Superbits:
1)Bad Boys
2) Men in Black
3) Men in Black 2
4) xXx

The first 2 are MAJOR improvements! In fact, MIB might just be one of the best DTS tracks out there, it is better than the previous DTS release. Must be because of getting rid of all the extras. Anyone else out there going to purchase or upgrade?

p.s. Charlie's Angels is next

Why?? Because the sound was pretty kickin'on the first one I thought and DTS will only make it that much better

I'm quite certain that there won't ever be a special edition of it, so Adaptation for me, sir!

Otherwise, superbit tends to pick movies I'd never buy in the first place. (Yes, we needed Superbit Heavy Metal 2000. Right. Uh huh.)

Adaptation is the only one from your list that warrants a purchase. I am satisfied with my current Charlie's Angels DVD. I don't plan on buying the others.

Adaptation.

I too am only buying it since I'm pressuming it will be the only release. Typically, I've avoided Superbits as I usually have no interest in the films re-released as part of the marketing ploy.

I like Superbit discs, and own five or so, as well as a few non-Superbit versions of films in the SB line. There are plenty more I want to get, but I'm passing on this round.

Probably none of them, as I don't have much interest in any of them, and I already own Charlies Angels and Men in Black and I don't want to upgrade them.

I'll be the first boy on my block to buy Adaptation, and I'll be picking up Punch-Drunk Love when it comes out, but other than that I don't have a huge interest in Superbit.

I love my SuperBits. I just got Bad Boys.....I MAY get Adaptation

but I already own:
Anaconda
Dark Crystal (upgraded)
Labyrinth (upgraded)
Dracula
Fifth Element
Gattaca
Panic Room
Desperado.

Extras aren't really that important to me. 9 times out of 10 I would choose the SuperBit DVD. I will only upgrade if I REALLY like the movie or if the previous transfer sucks....but most of these movies i did not own already.

The Region 2 Superbit release of Starship Troopers is reported to be coming out on 5th August, so I suspect the Region 1 version won't be too far behind...

I'm not sure when the Spiderman Superbit is coming out...As it was advertised by CTHE in some DVDs around Christmas I would assume that it would be sometime in 2003...Mmmm...Spiderman in DTS...

I totally forgot about Punch Drunk Love and should have included that in the list.

Spiderman in Superbit would be phenomenal! While I do have quite a few Superbits in my collection I do agree that the ones that they choose to put out are a mystery and I wouldn't buy half of them. But others would so...oh well.

My choice of future Superbits:

The Replacement Killers
Spiderman
Starship Troopers
Blackhawk Down
Cliffhanger
A Few Good Men
In the Line of Fire
Immortal Beloved
Leon: the Professional

Immortal Beloved would be amaaaaazing in Superbit!

I'd never heard that Punch-Drunk Love was going to be a Superbit (Deluxe) release... I knew it was a 2-disc DVD, but have yet to hear the word Superbit attached to it... and the cover art does not mention it either.
