Walt Disney Treasures
Well I know I'm a little late, but I finally finished grabbing up the 2nd wave of these discs. I must say I like the collection more and more with every new disc i get. The complete goofy has been my favorite out of all 7 so far. I was just wondering what your guys thoughts were on these and I was wondering if any of you knew what the next wave is going to include?

Supposedly Mickey Mouse in Color Volume 2 will be in the 2003 wave. I thought I heard the space one had been delayed. BUt Donald and Wartime are apparently on track to appear this year.
I think the series is great. I have all seven released so far and think they are Disney's single most exciting product line (yes, even more than the Platinum Editions, which I like as well).

I just like them because I like to actually see Walt talk about the innovative stuff that he is going to be doing instead of just watching cartoons. He does so on the Davy Crockett one to, but just intros. I always thought that it was more important to see and hear from Walt himself.
It's just interesting to see him talk about how his movies are made, and the plans for the world's first theme park. It's all historical significance for me. |
