Don't forget the HUGE billboards during the ambulance chase, with Roger Moore throwing a gurney with a bad guy on it into one for American Airways (or something). Tacky.

Indeed... you can tell it was one of the most expensive Bond films ever made.

Man, those R6V ads suck! Sad thing is, with all the online updates games get nowadays, i can see updating ads in games happening before long. The cutscenes in Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory on Xbox had the worst placement i've ever seen. Sam decides to chew some gum mid-scene, & we're treated to a huge close-up of a pack of Airwaves. Not even remotely subtle.

Anyways, movie-wise, The Island wins both best & worst for me.
Best: The ScaJo CK ad midway through the movie.
Worst: Everything else!

I thought it was a cute scene... I don't even know what Airwaves are.

I was watching just friends yesterday and I had to laugh when we they pull up in Chris Klein's character Prius and they had to actually bring it up. "Wow, Dustin, what kind of car is this?" "Oh this little baby, this is a Toyota Prius". Could you be more whorish.

Watching Total Recall yesterday and there is a huge amount of Pepsi product placement. No one drinks it, but Pepsi signs in a lot of shots in Venusville, and naturally where a fight is taking place near an elevator, there are fridges, and they are all full and face up correctly showing Pepsi.

I don't know if I have ever seen a vending machine that only had one type of soda in it.

Here's a jaw-droppingly shameless one from an episode of Smallville:

And, of course who gets a shout-out in the end credits for "production assistance"? Acuvue!

When was the last time you saw billboards while driving along a narrow, winding road alongside a mountain? Aren't they usually confined to major highways?

Yeah, the Marlboro one looks especially out of the place. If you are going to have a sign on a dirt winding rode, you would think the sing might be, you know, dirty.

Has anyone mentioned Terminator 3 yet...from what I remember it was very bad....lots of people driving Toyota's...except the T-X, who was driving a "Lose Weight Now" Xenadrine semi-truck!

And why would there be a billboard advertising British Airways[tm] in Rio or wherever that scene is set...

Recent one that made me laugh was in Shooter when some dude in the white house mentions google maps puts Walhberg at so-and-so. He doesnt just say Walhberg is there, he says "Google maps places him so-and-so."

All the tapayers dollars gone to government intelligence and they use a free web service for navigational purposes

Not a movie, but...

Sony’s Playstation 3 (as well as the Sony game Heavenly Sword) in Heroes--a show owned and distributed by a studio with an exclusivity deal with HD DVD.

The terrible 1988 E.T. rip-off Mac & Me is notorious for the amount of product plugs in it, but to have the trailer open with an introduction by RONALD McDONALD?!
