Guillermo del Toro rocks! (Hellboy DVD!)

Guillermo del Toro is like a TOTAL geek god. He is like one of us movie geeks who digs the whole inside information from AICN stuff. Dude, this guy rocks! Blade II was cheesy action/comic movie given a SOLID DVD with everything Guillermo wanted, DTS, great video quality, commentary, TONS of extras!

Now the guy has ALREADY started work on the HELLBOY DVD as he is currently shooting it! THE DVD IS GONNA BE PACKED!

SHH: Hellboy Day 1 Set Report
Greeting Hellboy fans! Scott Chitwood here. For those that don't know, I'm Mirko's partner in crime. While he's away visiting the motherland, I get to play. I've literally just stepped off the plane after having visited the set of Hellboy in Prague. I'm jet lagged and tired, so it will be a while before I can deliver a full report. However, in the coming days expect video from the set, my interviews with Guillermo del Toro and the crew, and a full account of my visit. It's going to take a few days to get everything together because Chuck The Movieguy and I have to edit the video and submit it to Sony for approval, but rest assured it's good stuff. Here's a small taste:

- Guillermo del Toro has a crew working on material for the DVD. He's planning for a THREE DVD set as of now.
I hope the DVD does some serious damage to LoTR:EE's greatness record.

This is my most anticipated movie, currently. I love the books to death, and I really admire the fact that they aren't going CG. Del Toro is also one of my new favorite directors, he's got an awesome eye. He's great at making every shot look artistic and well thought out. I could watch The Devil's Backbone every day.

Blade II is one of the best put together DVDs I've seen, and I really hope Del Toro can pull it off again. The movie may not be one of my favorites in my collection, but the DVD is amazing.

I wonder if the 3-disc will be the initial release...

I hope there is an "aw crap" montage.

I believe the film is Sony...so....I guess... That could mean a barebones release at first followed several months by the SE. Maybe
