Penguins in movies....(besides Fight Club)..

Which films have penguins in them and which ones are the most memorable?

To continue on my subtle exclusion of (perhaps slowly brewing hatred?) a particular film from my other threads, let's not bring up Fight Club. We all know about that poor penguin. Someone always has to bring up this damn movie so I am making it a point to bring it up before everyone else just to discourage it being brought up again (though, SOMEONE will, it always happens). That said, let's hear what penguin appearances in films have really moved you (or just maybe smile or snicker a little). Here is mine: there is a brief shot of penguins in the background at the zoo in About a Boy. Also, there is a brief shot of penguins near the end of Election. And finally, there is an IMAX dvd about Antartica, which talks about our fine feathered flightless friends who dwell there.

How about you? Any you'd like to share? I know someone is dying to say Batman Returns. Let's have them...please?

Yet another lame thread in a long line (well, hopefully) from the biggest and most pathetic loser on the planet, yours truly.

Off the top of my head, the ending of Billy Madison. Ok, so it wasn't a real penguin, just a guy in a giant penguin suit, but who can forget Chris Farley making out with the giant penguin?

That's what I thought of. And it's not just the ending.

If we're including animated penguins, then how about the waiter service in Mary Poppins?

Oooooo you dirty rat....penguins move me emotionally...so much, that they have coined me an honorary member of their club, though I'll have problems getting to the yearly conference in Antartica. Physically? Hmm...poor penguins...they can't fly or really push people....but they're so darn cute and I just love them so.....even if I am a pathetic loser with no life......

How about The Chipmunk Adventure? I loved that one growing up! The Chippettes rescue a baby penguin I believe.

No way! I've never seen this movie before and now I must rent it. Aside from the penguins, is it a good flick or just more post-Swingers drivel?
