The Seattle Time reported recently that Artisan no longer holds the rights to the series. No idea who does. Speculation says Paramount, but that's without actually asking Paramount so I think someone pulled that out of their ass. Universal owns it in Europe.

I'm going to get the Korean version when it comes out. Dugpa.com says it's the best version coming down the pike. I can't wait for the fall, when that's released.

Wow...that's interesting news. G.Love is the Twin Peaks nut in our house, so I'll have to tell her about this. It might be time for a region-free player. Thanks Unicorn!

Hey, notice how every Artisan thread eventually turns to Twin Peaks? I just thought that was funny.

And then they would have to hire more mods to close down all the threads! And then they can make me a mod to help them. Yup, that would be good.

Sadly I'm willing to bet that all of those titles are in full screen...I hate Artisan with a passion.

And that was 100% my reason for posting the info I did. It's bona fide info, and it means that there is no longer a reason to bring up Twin Peaks whenever Artisan's name is mentioned. It's not their party any more.

Good point. Hopefully everyone sees this. Time to "Sticky" this thread, I suppose.

it was a tv show in the early 90's. they didn't have widescreen televisions back then so of course they're going to be in full frame. why would you want a widescreen when full frame is the oar?

Renton, Skott's post was actually referring to Anti-Hero's original post, where he actually talked about the films Artisan has just announced.

Dude, it was the only post in this thread which has actually stayed on-topic! No wonder you were confused!!

FWIW, Skott, I agree that these will probably be fullscreen. If the Howling double-feature disc is OAR, though, I'll buy it. DVDEmpire has the lot of these up for pre-order as of this morning, but alas! No specs yet.
