I'd start with . . .

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever and Collateral Damage

Just my personal opinion, but those two are turkeys :flush:

You should sell movies that you feel you will not watch again. Suggestions from us would only entail our opinions and not yours. Make your own decision.

Gosh, at a glance, I'd say sell the whole bloody lot of them.

The 20 (or so) I would sell in a heartbeat:

13th Warrior
8mm
American Outlaws
Beverly Hills Cop III
The Big Hit
Chill Factor
The Corruptor
Dude, Where's My Car
Escape From L.A.
Ghosts of Mars
Hollow Man
Hudson Hawk
I Spy
Joy Ride
Last Action Hero
The One
The Quest
Reign of Fire
Scream
Scream 2
Scream 3
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
Thirteen Ghosts

Now some of these may be your favorites, but not for me. Obviously, I don' have any of these in my collection, and will not ever buy. Otherwise, it's a decent collection you've put together.

Hey, that's not nice.

There's at least a few good movies in there, somewhere... Alien, Assault on precinct 13, Big Trouble in Little China, The Big Lebowski, Dark City, Evil Dead II, Fargo, Three Kings...

Oh I'd still dump 99% of the rest of it though.

Since this will turn into everybody's opinion on what is a good movie and what is not (something only you can decide), I will give you some other advice.

I would get rid of movies which fall into one of these two categories:

Low replayability: Movies you bought blind or whatnot and you don't see yourself watching ever again. The aforemention Ecks vs. Sever could fit this category.

Future SE: Movies which you bought that have a basic transfer and most likley will be reissued as a special edition. Some of the Star Treks are already reissued and some other older titles will probably get a new issue in the future (fugitive, young guns 2 ,etc.).

Once you exhausted those two lists, you can go back and reevaluate some of your other DVD's.

And after all of that, comb
this
list to get rid of more forgettable titles.

You have a nice collection and the choice is up to you... but I'd sell Fargo to upgrade to the SE in September. Might as well sell it early when it's still worth something

Get rid of movies you dont like, or that dont have enough replayability for you or if they have a better SE coming.

those that did try to help, thanks, but in retrospect this post was a bad idea, it just turned into people bashing my taste in movies...

I mean Alex88 is right, I should get rid of the movies that I wont watch, I fogot how self rightous some people are about what makes a good movie and are not happy just being entertained for a few hours

It's true, there are really only a handful of good titles in this collection. The really shocking thing about the collection, however, is not that it doesn't have many great titles, but it's just that the bad titles are not just your normal breed of bad (say, for example, "Top Gun"), but rather the kind of bad where, while watching the film, one is in complete astonishment at how terrible the movie actually is, and has to wonder what kind of drugs the film's producer was on when he greenit the project. Some titles of this status in the collection include...

The 6th Day
8MM
American Outlaws
Armageddon
Austin Powers in "Goldmember"
Ballistic: Ecks VS Sever
Basic
Behind Enemy Lines
Beverly Hills Cop III
The Big Hit
Big Trouble
Bloodsport
Chill Factor
Cliffhanger
Collateral Damage
Commando
Conspiracy Theory
The Corruptor
Darkness Falls
Detroit Rock City
The Devil's Advocate
Die Hard 2
Die Hard With a Vengance
End of Days
Escape From L.A.
Face Off
Fallen
The Fog
Formula 51
Ghost Ship
Ghosts of Mars
Godzilla (remake)
Gone in 60 Seconds
Halloween III
Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers
Halloween Resurrection
Hard Target
Hellraiser III
Hellraiser: Bloodline (I actually know the guy who wrote this movie. Even he says it's possibly the worst film ever made.)
Hellraiser: Inferno
Hollow Man
I Spy
Judge Dredd
Kiss of the Dragon
Tomb Raider
Last Action Hero
Lethal Weapon 4
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Men in Black II
Money Talks
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
Mystery Men
Nick of Time
The One
The Patriot
Payback
Pearl Harbor
The Pelican Brief
The Perfect Storm
Phnatoms
Planet of the Apes (remake)
Point Break
Point of No Return
Predator 2
Psycho (remake)
The Quest
The Replacement Killers
Rounders
Rules of Engagement
Rush Hour 2
Shaft (remake)
Shanghai Noon
Showtime
Spy Game
The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Stargate
Thirteen Ghosts
A Time to Kill
Universal Soldier
John Carpenter's Vampires
Village of the Damned (remake)

...and finally, of course, "XXX"

Beyond this, there's a whol other wave of films that are just the regular variation of bad. I tried to list above only the worst.

I'm sorry my collection is not up to your standards, oh great one!

you know, Soggy Bagel's Revenge!, I was actually looking for some help, not to be insulted, but I guess some people can't get over their own opinions enough to see this.

Yeah, I just don't see this as getting any better.

Darthnick37 -- I apologize for Soggy. Sometimes he's just 'that way'. Soggy -- you should know better.

Also -- if you feel that I've closed this unjustly, please PM me.

Thanks.
