John Waters Bonus Disc - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I purchased the 3 John Waters Collection DVDs last year but couldn't get the bonus disc because I live in Scotland and I think that offer's finished already anyway. Anyone know a way to get the disc as I need it because I'm a John Waters collector.

I saw on amazon they seem to be seem to be selling it but along with the 3 other John Waters collection DVDs which would be a last ditch resort since it means buying them again.

I've wanted the John Waters bonus disc for quite a while; it pissed me off because IMMEDIATELY after I started buying the releases seperately, they released a set of all of them with the bonus disc. I would sell mine and rebuy it, but I suppose it's not worth it.

I still check ebay frequently to see if there are any on there, but there never have been.

We're UK based (and on a shitty, sheep-filled island, worst luck) and saved up the tokens for the mail-away disc. We had a contact in the US who sent them from his address and was going to mail it over to us.

But it didn't arrive at his place. In fact, we have read that quite a number of folks who loyally saved and sent failed to get their treasured bonus disc.

Anyone wanna march into New Line's offices and blow Bob Shaye's bowels out?

The (few) auctions for it go for more than the entire new box. Buy the box, keep the bonus DVD and sell the DVDs you don't want...

Sweet! I just made a deal with my Waters-loving friend -- I buy the set for $80 at Barnes and Noble (minus a bit more for the "reader's advantage" card), sell him Pink Flamingos/Female Trouble and Polyester/Desperate Living for $20 each, and keep the bonus disc and Hairspray/Pecker for myself. I end up only paying $30 for Hairspray/Pecker and $10 for the bonus disc, which is an excellent deal considering the rarity of it.

I'll probably just buy the one on Amazon that comes with the rest. It's better than waiting ages for it and trying to buy it other ways.
